Expert refractive surgeon, Dr. Anthony Roberts has been in private practice as an ophthalmologist since 1996. Over the course of his career, he has performed more than 97,000 refractive surgeries, including laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK). His clinical experience also includes custom lens replacement procedures, using advanced laser systems and technology to treat dysfunctional Lens Syndrome and presbyopia. Dr. Anthony Roberts holds a doctor of medicine from the University of Maryland and completed post-graduate training through the State University of New York at Stony Brook and the Harvard Medical School’s Lancaster Course in Ophthalmology.
Since founding the practice in 2002, Dr. Roberts has treated patients at Shady Grove Ophthalmology in Rockville, Maryland. He provides comprehensive eye care to treat conditions that include glaucoma, cataracts, astigmatism, dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, and corneal disease. He holds membership in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
